City Winery Nashville says
The Walking Guys is a songwriting collective made up of Arts Fishing Club, Benjamin Butler, Riley Moore, and Will Stevens. They joined together for a 1,600 mile WALKING tour to play 50+ shows and intimately connect with the people they encountered on the road. Tour highlights include sessions at the Philadelphia and Newport Folk Festivals, write-ups in American Songwriter, Travel and Leisure Magazine, and the cover of The Tennessean, in addition to many local radio/media spots.

Arts Fishing Club is the solo project of Vanderbilt University graduate Christopher Kessenich. He released the self-titled debut EP in July and has been thrilled to tour with the "Guys" ever since. Kessenich's contemplative lyrics and smoky voice combine to create unique blend of folk and rock that would make one think Mumford and Sons and Eddie Vedder had a 6'3" child from Wisconsin.

From Montgomery, Alabama comes Benjamin Butler, a man who has built his life on playing music and accepting way too many dares. He started writing songs after the passing of a loved one and has been living in and out of Nashville ever since. He released his first EP, "Marred By Dust" in July, which is just a collective mix of honest stories and crazy fables that are told with a Southern Americana flavor. A man of stories - the good, the bad, and the made up ones - this is Benjamin Butler.

Riley Moore grew up in Nashville but decided he wanted to be a songwriter while studying music in Sydney, Australia where he moved after graduating from high school. Now he sings songs about everything from eating pancakes to driving in the truck he hasn't bought yet. A man who had traveled most of the world before he turned 20, and walked up a mountain backwards at age 11--it seems Riley was born to be one of The Walking Guys. The release date for Moore's debut EP World's Greatest Human is October 2nd.

Will Stevens grew up in small-town Thomaston, Georgia, and began his musical career as a founding member of the Southern Rock jam band, the Dirty Sound Professors. After attending Berklee College of Music, fueling his passion for guitar playing and honing his songwriting abilities, Stevens joined The Walking Guys adding tasty guitar accompaniment to each of the above artists' songs while displaying his own classic rock inspired compositions.
