Metro Arts (Metro Nashville Arts Commission) says
A key component of a successful THRIVE micro-funding proposal is ensuring that your project engages the community. Join Metro Arts for a workshop, lead by Nashville artist Abby Whisenant, that explores community-based arts processes and methods for authentic community engagement and participation. The workshop will cover best practices for engaging your intended audience, producing work that benefits the community, sharing the story and communicating the results. The participants will leave the workshop with the ability to successfully design and implement future community-based art projects, ensuring full community participation and engagement. The workshop is free and open to those interested in applying for THRIVE funding.
