Tennessee Performing Arts Center says
The Tennessee Performing Arts Center will host its first-ever Winter Holiday Marketplace at War Memorial Auditorium on Dec. 3.

The Marketplace is part of TPAC's Winter Holiday Fest, a celebration of the performing arts throughout the holiday season between November 25 and December 31 and including a broad variety of live performances in TPAC venues from the Nashville Ballet, Nashville Repertory Theatre, and more.

The Winter Holiday Fest Marketplace is from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3, and presented in conjunction with the Nashville Downtown Partnership’s First Saturday Arts Crawl. The Marketplace will provide an opportunity to shop local artisan vendors specializing in hand-crafted decorative items, glass and pottery, handmade candles, collectables, fabric art, jewelry, and more in a holiday environment featuring live musical performances, specialty food and beverages, arts and crafts, and free photo opportunities with characters and props from “Nashville’s Nutcracker” and “A Christmas Story.”

This free holiday festival will also feature short musical performances from entertainers including American Idol Finalist Naima Adedapo at 6PM, Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Deborah Allen at 7PM, and American country music and country pop singer Sylvia at 8PM.

Sankofa African Drum and Dance is a Tennessee based performing arts company whose mission is to create experiences for outreach, education and entertainment in order to inspire individuals and communities to embrace and experience the rich cultural dancing and musical traditions of Africa. They will have a procession from 5th Avenue to WMA at 4:30 followed by a short performance. Join us!
