Imagination Tour

Field trip fee applies.

Kids and adults will hold on to their hats as they use their imagination to quickly travel though the Continent of Africa. Led by drummer Baba Luther Gray and dancer Mama Jamilah Peters-Muhammad, audience members become drummers and dancers, as they move throughout several African countries. Holiday Marketplace and Entertainment

Holiday on the Boulevard takes on a different look this year. Please join us for a day of fun, entertainment, dancing and shopping.

The holiday marketplace opens at 11:00 AM with music by D.J. RQAWAY (11AM – 2-PM). Our featured visual artist this year is Wanda Wiggins. And among other select items, enjoy great food by: JuJu Bag Café. There’s something for everyone in the family, so plan to do a big chunk of your holiday shopping with us.
At 12:00 noon, the entertainment kicks off. Showcasing and performing will be students from Ashé’s Kuumba Institute, the Silhouette Dance Company led by Kai Knight, a Youth Dance Competition hosted by Lucky Lou, an Interactive STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) presentation by The 1881 Research Institute, the NORDC Senior Choir, a Bounce Fitness Throw-down with Sistahs Making a Change, led by Marissa Joseph; and a secondline Brass Band Finale.
