About our Educator: Widow Centauri has a background in creative writing, linguistics, gender studies, and comedy. She has lived in New Orleans sporadically since 2002. Widow studied improv comedy at the Second City and worked as a professional dominatrix for over ten years. She holds a BA in creative writing from Antioch and an MA in sociology from San Diego State. Widow Centauri teaches workshops on sex, gender, and language. Her first book, The Dominatrix Bible, will finally be available in the summer of 2015. Her thesis, Gender Variant Neologisms, is available for raging nerds through Montezuma Publishing. She has a wicked cool blog called A Funny Dominatrix!
