Nickelodeon movies every child needs to watch

Kennan and Kel, the All That! comedic duo, tackle their famous sketch in a full-length flick where they can't seem to do anything quite right. Picture this as your favorite SNL skit turned into a big-screen release, and that's what '90s kids will say about Good Burger.

Siblings Andi and Bruce are forced to part ways with their pup Friday upon finding a foster home that has a no-pet policy. Bruce's ingenious idea to turn an abandoned hotel into a stay for Friday—and many of his furry friends—turns out great...until neighbors start catching on. 

Little Jimmy Neutron is set on making contact with an alien species, but when they do, the evil Yolkians kidnap all the parents in the city and fly them to their planet. Jimmy eventually discovers the plot and rounds up all the kids to rescue the adults. Unfortunately, the children discover that the idea was hatched after the Yolkians discovered one of Jimmy’s satellite messages inviting the space creatures to Earth and now it’s up to Jimmy to rescue them from this whole mess.

The sweet film turns out to be a total tearjerker at the end after prized piggy Wilbur is rescued from the market and later befriends an intelligent and very literate spider, Charlotte. Together, they hatch a plan to save Wilbur from ever being slaughtered and strike up one of the strongest animated animal friendships we know.

This story, based on the popular book series, focuses on the three Baudelaire orphans who are constantly pursued by their conniving relative Count Olaf. He's only interested in taking their inheritance, and the children manage to escape his grasps time after time, but Count Olaf keeps finding new ways to get his evil claws closer and closer to the children.

Eliza Thornberry is pretty awesome (though her older sis Debby might be to differ). The 12-year-old has the ability to speak to animals, which is perfectly fitting, considering she and her family travel the world exploring different species. But there's a catch: If she lets anyone in on the secret, she has the possibility of losing her powers for good. What will happen when she must protect an elphant herd while in Africa?

In this cartoon-turned-movie, we leave the comfort of our stoops (see what we did there?) to journey alongside football head do-gooder, Arnold, who is trying to save his neighborhood from becoming a mall. We couldn't let the fate of the boarding house be up to a crook named Scheck, right?!

'90s babies weren't done with the P.S. 118 group quite yet. Thanks to this 2017 flick, fans young and old were able to journey alongside Arnold and his pals while they search for his parents—whom we never see throughout the series—in the fictional town of San Lorenzo. Will they be able to find them, despite the danger that awaits?
