Fans of all things Harry Potter, this one’s for you. A brand new Potter-themed area of a theme park has been announced that promises to immerse visitors in the books’ and films’ magical world in totally new ways.

This new Harry Potter-themed land will be found in the Emirati state of Abu Dhabi. It’ll be a new addition to Warner Bros. World on Yas Island, which opened back in 2016 and is the largest indoor theme park in the world. And, excitingly, it will apparently offer Potter fans something completely different, with a statement announcing a ‘wholly new and spectacular destination for fans to immerse themselves in.’

Exactly what will be included in the themed area hasn’t yet been specified – nor has it yet been confirmed when it might be completed. However, we imagine it’ll have similar features to the other HP-themed park areas around the world, which are currently at Universal Studios in Orlando, Hollywood, Tokyo and Beijing

These already-existing parks – each dubbed ‘The Wizarding World of Harry Potter’ – contain attractions such as themed rollercoasters, shops and restaurants. Potter fans can also visit the official Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London, which exhibits several sets and costumes.

Even with such little info, a new Harry Potter-themed land is pretty exciting, right? Keep an eye on this page – we’ll fill it with more details when they become available.
