Eurostar is selling London-Paris tickets for just £34 – but only until midnight tonight

The firm is also offering deals on trips from London to Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Brussels

Get your Euro-trekking boots ready: Eurostar has launched its winter sale, and it’s giving away 50,000 seats to destinations across Europe for just £34 each way. But you’ll have to be really, really quick – the sale ends tonight.

For just a few more hours, Eurostar is offering standard-class tickets for around a tenner less than its usual cheapest fare (£44.50). That price will get you from London to European culture capitals Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam and Rotterdam.

In a time of climate emergency, travelling by train and reducing the amount of air travel has never been more necessary. Trains are far better for the planet than planes, emitting much less CO2. And let’s be honest, they’re much nicer, too: less faff, more space, just good vibes all round.

Eurostar’s current sale covers dates stretching from next week (November 16) to the end of March. In other words, you could be atop the Eiffel Tower, sauntering around the Grand-Place de Bruxelles or floating down the Singel canal in just under a week. But like we say, you’ll have to be quick – the sale ends at midnight tonight.
