Ranked on seven different criteria, 101 burger joints have been recognised in this ranking

Lots of us salivate at the mere thought of sinking our teeth into a juicy, smoky patty, but not all burgers were created equal.
That’s why Time Out recently called on its international network of editors to nominate their favourite burger in their city, and it resulted in a drool-worthy roundup of the planet’s most lip-smacking patties.
However, World’s Best Burgers (unsurprisingly) also know a thing or two about where to get a good burger, and a 101-strong list of the restaurants serving up the tastiest ones in the world has just landed.
There are seven main categories which are assessed anonymously by the platform’s Steak / Burger Ambassadors, before a final decision is made by the executive team. The criteria includes:
Topping the list is Bleecker, a London-based chain which has eight outposts in the city: find them in Spitalfields Market, Seven Dials, Victoria, Bloomberg, Westfield White City, London Bridge, Baker Street and Soho.
Black Bear Burger, also a London restaurant, claimed second place, and it has three main restaurants as well as locations in food halls in the capital, and Café Margaret in Sydney claimed third. Don’t sleep on the desserts here, either.
The Diplomat in Hong Kong claimed fourth place, and Gasoline Grill in Copenhagen rounded out the top five.
ICYMI: The South American city named the world’s culinary capital for 2026.
Plus: The world’s most endangered dishes, from Northern Portugal to New York.
