Whether you're backpacking across Arizona or on a budget trip to India, one of the best parts of seeing the world is getting to witness the sunset in some of the globe’s bucket list destinations.

If you’re someone who factors sunset-watching into every trip itinerary, you’ll be excited to learn that travel agency Planet Cruise has revealed the top 15 places to watch the sunset across the globe, based on Tripadvisor reviews. To come up with the list, the company gathered several five-star reviews containing the word ‘sunset’ and calculated the percentage of these reviews as compared to the number of total reviews. They then calculated the average star rating for each location containing ‘sunset’ and ranked them accordingly.

The findings showed, somewhat unsurprisingly, that Arizona’s Grand Canyon is the world’s best destination to experience a breathtaking sunset with a 4.916-star rating.

It was followed by the Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in India with a 4.864-star rating. The marble mausoleum is also one of the seven wonders of the world.

The largest religious structure in the world, Cambodia’s Angkor Wat, took the third position with a 4.795-star rating.

Here are the destinations Planet Cruise named as the world’s best sunset spots:

  1. The Grand Canyon (USA)
  2. The Taj Mahal (India)
  3. Angkor Wat (Cambodia)
  4. Eiffel Tower (France)
  5. London Eye (UK)
  6. Mallory Square (USA)
  7. Tanah Lot Temple (Indonesia)
  8. Jimbaran Bay, Bali (Indonesia)
