Looking to go big on your next holiday? Well, rentals don’t get much bigger than this. An entire Italian village is now available for you to rent which boasts its own castle, theatre, squares, gardens and much more.

The village in question is called Petritoli and it’s in the Le Marche region of central Italy. A historic town with its own Roman cellars and a lofty castle – called the Palazzo Mannocchi – Petritoli is about an hour’s drive south from Ancona and just under three hours’ drive from Rome.

This being an entire village, it has space for a heck of a lot of people. In fact, Petritoli can accommodate a whopping 200 guests (with a minimum of 50), who can stay in accommodation ranging from medieval houses to the village’s castle itself. The whole place is pretty spectacular – here are a few pics of it.

How much will this set you back? Well, pricing for Petritoli starts at £1,303 ($1,577) per night, which, on the face of it, might seem like quite a lot of cash. But if you manage to pack it out with enough people, it’s actually quite reasonable – just over £6.50 ($7.80) per person, per night.

Petritoli is listed through specialist rental providers Group Accommodation and you can find out more and book here. And if you can’t fill out an entire village? Well, we can’t really blame you. Check out a full range of huge-but-not-entire-village-huge Airbnb options in the Le Marche region.
