'L'Aigle noir' comes to the Philharmonie for a groundbreaking exhibition

Black eagle, Göttingen, la Solitude… for all her various nicknames “the lady in black” left more than a few treasures in the French musical repertoire. It makes sense that the Philharmonie, Paris’s musical Mecca, is the one to pay homage to the great Barbara with a rich and emotional exhibition. Just like her unforgettable voice.

The Barbara exhibition, comprises a large body of photographs and audiovisual elements, uncovering the layers to this woman and artist who stayed true to herself throughout her inimitable career.

Of course, this is a must-see for die-hard fans but, also, those who want to develop an understanding of one of France's greatest singers, what she meant to the musical genre, and the country as a whole.
