As part of the 2013 Photoquai biennial, The Musée du Quai Branly is paying particular attention to Colombian photography, showing an exhibition on Juan Manuel Echavarría (born in Medellin in 1947), José Alejandro Restrepo (born in Bogota in 1959), Miguel Angel Rojas (born in Bogota in 1946) and Oscar Muñoz (born in Popayan in 1951). Four photographers, with four perspectives on a country that they never knew in peacetime, only when embroiled in an interminable civil war that is still not resolved in 2013.
