From the first experimental shots of Man Ray to the formative movements of the post-war period, the Bouqueret collection, currently on show in the Beaubourg gallery of the Centre Pompidou, retraces some great moments in modernism. It’s also a great way of exploring the world of the Parisian avant-garde, through a selection that’s stuffed with giants of photography from André Kertész and Germaine Krull to Dora Maar and Brassaï.
