In Paris' symphonic Salle Pleyel the Orchestre de Paris is joined by conductor Paavo Järvi and pianist Dang Thai Son for what promises to be a wonderful three-set concert. First up is Les Offrandes Oubliées by Olivier Messiaen (one of France's most important 20th-century composers, known for his complex rhythms), followed by Robert Schumann (Concerto for piano) and Hector Berlioz (Symphonie fantastique).
