Time Out says
School chairs, benches with exotic patterns and leather stools : Le Comptoir des Batignolles is a well-established neighbourhood bar which inspires to travel. But in order to go around the world, no need to book a flight as everything happens in your drink. Draught beer from Holland & Belgium, red wine from Bordeaux and white wine from Alsace… The cocktail menu will take you to Italy with the Sugar Daddy (amaretto, vodka, pinapple, lemon) or to Brazil with the French Caïpi (cachaça, Chambord, lemon, sugar).
The bar owners have chosen to keep a rather small number of tables on the ground floor and the basement. This gives the bar an airy feel and means it's a good idea to arrive early to grab a table.
The venue can be privatized for free from the bar website.
