Review
It takes a lot of imagination and creativity to transform a little, disused basement into a cabaret club for music and comedy. But as the team behind Sentier des Halles (LSDH) seems to have these qualities in spades, this little room has been making a big name for itself for its packed line-up of concerts and comedy acts. The cabaret acts are on first, with resident and visiting artists putting one one-man/-woman shows. At 10 p.m., the concerts begin: pop, rock, soul, chanson, French popular music and jazz, with a good selection of French musicians. Since having been bought out by the Olympia two years ago, LSDH has been renovated and equipped with a good system and a friendly bar upstairs, where you can often schmooze with the artists.
