'Metamorphosis' is the theme for Parc de la Villette's season of free films, screened under the stars on Europe's biggest inflatable screen. Pack a picninc then hire a deckchair and nab the best spot in the park. Sunday nights are usually devoted to classics (from both the Hollywood and the French repertoires), Saturdays are given over to mainstream fictions, while international arthouse films are screened on Thursdays (the final programme will announced in June/early July). For this 22nd edition, also look out for themed cartoon nights, short film sessions and live ciné-music concerts.
