Scream (CLOSED)

If you’re attractive, well-built, and not at all afraid of getting lost, the cavernous Scream club is your venue every Saturday night. Between the covered terrace and the two dance floors underground, there’s something for everyone as long as you think Dolce and Gabbana would give you the time of day. Right by Place de la République between the Marais and the Canal-St-Martin neighbourhoods, this is definitely the place to be for real gay clubbing, as close as you’ll get to Manhattan or Berlin. The music is a mix of house and techno with more R&B and pop tunes in the smaller hall. If you’re feeling frisky, there is a designated cruise section that you’ll notice pretty easily by the adult-only films playing.  Drinks are pricy and fresh air is at a premium, so wander the city’s largest gay party at your own risk. Hey, at least the eye candy is free – with a €15 admission, of course.
