Time Out says

A boutique hotel with swank for people that like things simple, intimate, and easygoing.

Rates: from €190 per night for a classic double, breakfast included.

Amastan is a boutique hotel for those who aren’t really fans of hotels. The USP is intriguing: the freedom (if not insistence) to ask for what you crave, in a beautifully designed setting - uniting the convenience of a b&b with the quality of a 4* hotel.

The size - 24 rooms over 6 floors - is reflective of its intimate style. The rooms are divided between Classic, Superior, Deluxe and Premier - with each designed with bespoke furniture. Amastan says the rooms are designed to provide "everything you need and nothing you don’t", which includes Treca beds, ample wardrobe space, Nespresso machine, bottled water, in-room safe, free WiFi.

When it comes to room service, there’s no mini-bar or menu - you can simply call them with any wishes.

Amastan opened in August 2016, designed by interior architectural firm NOCC who’ve done a sterling job on chic but relaxed déco - think navy panelling and marble. The space is small but maximised, with one long bar / dining area and a secret jewel of a terrace.
The hotel tries to be as hybrid as possible with an installation-cum-exhibition space - Pop-In - located adjacent to the hotel.

Communal space is minimal but offers the essentials. The Anouk bar with its glass roof and leafy terrace forms the perfect place to destress, be it at breakfast or with an evening cocktail.

A stone’s throw from the Champs-Elysées, Faubourg Saint-Honoré, the Tuileries, Parc Monceau and Grand Palais you’re in walking distance of all the hot spots.
