Pershing Hall

A big, brash operation that caters to a distinct Champs-Elysées set who flock here for the designer shopping, expensive club nights and sharp-suited business meetings. And none the worse for that, particularly – the vast central courtyard with its vertical plant wall hosts a buzzing restaurant, and rooms that look out over it have a charming aspect. Elsewhere, the thick carpeted beige corridors and views over busy Champs-Elysées side streets are less than enchanting, and the staff can be strangely gauche. But for glamorous room service and all the extras – spa, gym, event spaces for up to 700 people – this certainly does the job, for those willing to pay.
