For over a decade now, Parisians have flocked to the chic neighbourhood of Boulogne-Billancourt every November for a long weekend of rock – indie, bluesy, experimental and psychedelic alike. This year, the BBMIX music festival enters its second decade of existence, and celebrates with its best line-up yet.
Among the first batch of names announced to play this year are experimental punk veterans Half Japanese and Wire, a new project from two members of Timber Timbre (Last Ex), a chamber music take on Depeche Mode (Sylvain Chauveau) and trippy alt rock from Disappears. There's more to come, but as ever, the line-up seems to be very much focused on the more experimental (and often more raucous) side of rock music, cementing the festival's reputation as one of the more progressive events on the Parisian music calendar. We'll be there as always.
Tickets are €12 for each night. For more information, click here.
