Antony and the Johnsons

Antony Hegarty's unique, extraordinary voice drives Antony and the Johnsons' psych-folk, as do his poetic lyrics and intimate music. Their 2005 debut album ‘I Am a Bird Now’ was praised to the skies, followed by 2009’s ‘The Crying Light’, and the joy continues with '2010's ‘Swanlights’. It's even more dreamlike, full of complex melodies and virtuoso arrangements; an opus as inspiring as it is harrowing.
