Foxygen

If their early material was clearly influenced by the sounds of the ‘60s (‘Take The Kids Off Broadway’), the more recent releases (‘We Are The 21st Century Ambassadors Of Peace & Magic’) from Californian group Foxygen show an incredible aptitude for bringing the rock of the Rolling Stones and the Kinks (and even a bit of Beatles pop) bang up to date, with a healthy dose of their own inspiration.
