Lisa Hannigan + Alt J + Zulu Winter

Irish singer-songwriter Lisa Hannigan got her start singing on Damien Rice albums, but her sweet, perky songs are a departure from Rice's rather self-indulgent fare. She arrives astride a new domestic release, 'Passenger'. As its splendid name might suggest, British five-piece Zulu Winter makes tribal pop-rock punctuated by reverby guitar lines. Lovers of Cut Copy and Coldplay alike will be pleased.
