London Grammar

Formed at Nottingham University in 2011, London Grammar burst onto the blogs and the radio in early 2013 on the back of their 'Metal & Dust' EP. They're led by Hannah Reid's mannered, Florence-ish vocals, and have picked up plenty of comparisons to The XX for their downbeat instrumentals. We didn't think much at all of their somewhat monotonous debut album 'If You Wait', but it was a favourite for the Mercury Prize shortlist and has certainly picked them up a shedload of fans, both back home and across the channel.
