Pusha T started out in Virginia Beach as one half of duo Clipse (his brother was the other). Initial success with 2002 hit 'Grindin'' and collaborations with The Neptunes drew the attention of Kanye West, and the rapper soon embarked on a solo career that took him to the forefront of the New York scene. Check out his massive beats and powerfully complex rhymes tonight at the Grande Halle de la Villette.
Pusha will be accompanied by two acts who hail from the Beast Coast movement of trippy underground hip-hop (which includes A$AP Rocky): Flatbush Zombies and The Underachievers. The latter are purveyors of the sort of dark, lo-fi experimental music beloved of Flying Lotus, who's been championing them recently – we're intrigued to see how they work live.
