V V Brown

You may remember Brown from her debut album 'Travelling Like the Light', which mixed up bubblegum punk 'n' soul with summery doo wop and '60s R&B. Well, she's back – but not as you last saw her. After cancelling the release of her second album, Brown has worked with Dave Okumu and crafted a more mature electronic soul sound that suggests she's gunning to become the new Jessie Ware. And, most drastically of all, she's chopped off her distinctive curled-back fringe.
