Quaint and cosy, this little bakery-cum-teahouse in the 17th offers welcome respite from the bustle of nearby Place de Clichy. The owner, Julia Tosi, worked in Montreal and London before bringing her winning mix of Anglo favourites and French specialities to Paris. Her assortment of cupcakes, brownies, and cheesecakes are the highlight, while the heaps of wonky mismatched cookies showcase a more 'homemade' side to her baking. For a bit of local savour, check out the financiers and fruit tartlets. Savoury tarts and crumbles complete the picture – but bear in mind that ingredients change according to the seasons. Stop by early for a quick takeaway pastry; alternatively, if you're looking to sit down with a cup of coffee, you can wait till the indoor seating area opens in the afternoon.
