La Petite Table serves up everything you could want in a Parisien café-diner. Pastries are piled up high in the window, grey banquettes go perfectly with the colourful tiles, a coffee machine rumbles comfortingly, and dozens of little tables hold big bouquets of fresh-cut flowers. In the evenings, a substantial menu offers Italian antipasti: bruschetta with cherry tomatoes, cheese platters, caramelised endives with parmesan, or fresh burratta with persimmon. Finish up with some home-made pastries: honey and pistachio cake, cappuccino tartlet, muffins, macarons and cookies. Serving all day long and equipped with an Italian wine list, this funky little hangout is a great one for the address book.
