L’Avel restaurant deep in Paris’ 15th arrondissement enjoys such a brilliant Eiffel Tower view from its terrace that you may never want to budge. It’s heated in winter, too. Try the Marseillaise-style bouillabaisse and sauerkraut with seafood and beurre Nantais. Recently chef Laurent Debus has taken over the kitchen and added innovations like lobster salad with shrimp and lemongrass to the carte. Fine service and oooh la la that view.
