The big blue ocean at Pacifique is actually an aquarium full of fish that feed the restaurant’s cooking pots. The old-fashioned décor is not without charm, and the spacious yet intimate neighbourhood venue makes you feel at home; you won't feel uncomfortable stuffing yourself with home made dim sum and crispy duck.
Start with a few steamed dishes, dumplings in five flavours or little rice pancakes with prawns. Follow it up with generous, cheap servings of Cantonese rice, or the long-roasted meats. All this plus beer is not much more than €15 a person.
