It's not love at first sight. With its lowered blinds and off-yellow walls, Les Bottes de 7 lieues comes across as more film noir detective office than Parisian bistro. Yet French gastronomy is very much the order of the day here: deep-fried whiting, soft-boiled eggs, rib of veal, all at a set price of €14. If you're in the area, you could do worse.
