Pascal is an interior designer. Emanuel is a fashion nut. Bazartherapy is what you get when you put the two together: an Ali Baba's cave of weird, wonderful and trendy items condensed into one tastefully decorated boutique. The shop is densely packed with objects of all stripes – no less than 12,000 in the inventory, the owners tell us. Cute little Japanese gizmos share shelf space with Italian perfume, rabbit-shaped USB keys (€10), designer candy boxes and even bamboo cutlery (€8). Gadget hounds and fashionistas are equally well catered for. If there's an organising principle to all this, we've yet to work it out. In Emanuel's words, it's a 'modern, creative bazaar that doesn't take itself too seriously' – but anyone who enjoys a spot of aimless gift-shopping should take it very seriously indeed.
