Nothing destined Emilie and her cousin Xavier for a life in retail. But, struggling to find jobs after their studies (psychology for her, law for him), they decided to open a shop. This small space is where they present findings from their many travels: to Mexico, Colombia, Estonia, China, Niger and more. This is a world tour through objects, some day-to-day (mugs, t-shirts, iPhone covers), some less so (Mexican wrestling masks) – either way they're usually offbeat designs, like the moustache place mats from Kerala (€12). 'What we like most is to meet people, to go to markets and to work with designers that you can’t find anywhere else in Paris,' says Emilie. Here, everything is wonderfully out of the ordinary and absolutely affordable.
