La Perlerie 22

All along the Rue du Temple in the 3rd arrondissement, you’ll find charming haberdashery shops crammed to bursting with beads and buttons, ribbons and charms, lockets and cameos, hooks and eyes and much more. Some more twee, some more goth, we like the dinky little La Perlerie at number 22 (unlike some, it doesn’t just sell in bulk). Seasoned crafters will thrill to the enormous range of original designs, and casual browsers won’t be able to resist the impulse to swap their boring old coat buttons for outsize leopard pattern versions, or to start their charm bracelet collection with a miniature silver Eiffel Tower.
