Sophie and Solène met at university in Amsterdam, and when they returned to Paris, they wanted to create a convivial space where anything goes. 'Lekker' means 'enjoyable' in Dutch, and this is a concept store with a difference – everything, but everything is for sale, from the crockery to the wall hangings. It’s worked, too – Lekker has quickly become a hot hangout for the neighbourhood’s bright young things. As you enter the boutique, you come first to a display of brands hand-selected by the team – chic pieces, sportswear and accessories for men and women, with prices running from the teens to around the hundred mark. Head further in and there's a second room at the back that serves as a café, with a great organic menu. It's the perfect combination for young creatives who want to browse, work, read and chat over coffee and sandwiches.
