This is one for the ladies: Maison Albert, a luxury brand created by Moroccan designer GS, is entirely dedicated to women’s jackets. Its Left Bank HQ is the city’s first ‘bar à veste’ (jacket bar) where you go – not to drink – but to try on the rows of coats. You’ll find models in leather, tweed, cotton, linen, wool, sheepskin and satin – each differing in cuts and colours, and each highly wearable. Materials are all from France or Italy and sport hand-stitched finishes for an extra sense of decadence.
