The door slides to a shut and you’re trapped. The countdown starts. There’s no handle to shake, no lock to pick, no secret passage through the bookshelf. The only way you’re going to make it out is by searching for clues and working your way through puzzles concocted by the creators of HintHunt. The HintHunt Paris staff are English-speaking and the escape games are available in English and French. It is a fun, gripping activity for locals and visitors alike.

HintHunt has two games on offer, ‘JM Office’ and ‘Zen Room’. You can play with up to 5 friends in the rooms located on the Rue Beaubourg, in the atmospheric historic quarter of the Marais. In both cases there’s a mystery to solve and adrenaline kicks in fast. As the hour of game time trickles away concentration becomes crucial, sweat spills and patience quickly falls by the wayside.

Amping up the tension, the creators watch your every move through a camera as you play, throwing you a clue every now and then. You can almost hear them hoot as you pull your hair out in frustration over the difficult puzzles.
