When? April 16, 2016
What? A paint-splattered 5km fun run through the streets of Paris.
Where? Starts from Hôtel de Ville

Popular fun run ‘The Color Run’ returns to Paris on Sunday April 17 2016, from 9.30am on the forecourt of Hôtel de Ville. Following the same format as usual, the run is 5km long, and you can ‘run’ it however you please: jogging, backwards, moon walking, even on your hands (although good luck with that one). There are no stopwatches to be seen and there’s no pressure to impress, just plenty of energetic folk having a good time. The only rule is that you have to dress in all white, as at five stages along the route, a special team of organisers are charged with bombarding runners with powder paint of all hues. Entirely natural and edible, the tossed paint promises – for one Sunday only – to turn one thoroughly normal sporting activity into a fun and colourful day out for all. Signs and refreshments will be provided for on the day.
