Set up by a French engineer who retrained as a professional chef, Le Foodist is one of the more charming and personable of Paris's many culinary schools. Among various gastronomic experiences, is a Daring Pairing session (€69-79 per person), a sampling of fine wines and cheeses in the charming cellar below their kitchens. In addition, they run market visits followed by French cooking lessons (starting at €150) and pâtisserie courses to make macarons or croissants (starting at €95). All delivered with equal passion.
