When? August 5-7 2016
What?
A series of themed events celebrating the night sky and space exploration.
Where?
Montparnasse tower and Cité des Sciences et de L’Industrie

Forget about all the A-listers descending on the French Riviera with their yachts this summer – this series of events is dedicated to the true sense of the word ‘star’. Now spanning events across Europe and Africa, the Nuits des Étoiles is back to encourage budding young stargazers to explore the night sky, with the focus this year placed on the possibility of life in space. For 2016’s 26th edition, there are two participating venues in Paris: an observatory is being created on the 56th floor of Montparnasse Tower with telescopes to help you locate your favourite constellations (€15 for adults and €9.50 for children), while the Cité des Sciences et de L’Industrie is putting on a free series of events designed to please children and adults of all ages.
