When? March 17-20 2016
What? Meet authors, agents, booksellers and more at Paris’s big annual book fair.
Where? Pavilion 1 de la Porte de Versailles

Paris’s 36th annual book fair – formerly known as the Salon du Livre, now restyled as Livre Paris – is an unmissable gathering for everyone connected with France’s book industry. Held from March 17-20 2016 at Pavilion 1 de la Porte de Versailles, it also honours a guest country – in 2016, that’s South Korea.

Authors, editors, agents, booksellers, libraries, translators, bookshops and all manner of literary people will be represented. As well as the business side of such fairs – selling rights, drumming up buzz, networking and marketing – there will be over 4,000 signings, interviews and debates with a host of French and international authors.

Programme information for 2016 is TBA, but you can find out more, follow updates, and eventually buy tickets on the Livre Paris website.

If you’re in town for Livre Paris 2016, try booking in to one of our favourite literary hotels, or reading ahead with book recommendations from local Paris experts. Then, of course, there are Paris’s best bookshops for post-fair browsing.
