Time Out Paris X Carreau du Temple

Over a 20-day period in July, we're turning the huge space Carreau du Temple into your summer playground. Stroll around the food market and sample dishes from numerous Parisian restaurants, have a drink and move to the rhythm of some disco-funk beats, or take part in one of the giant sports classes on offer.

Basically, there's everything you need to make it feel like you're on holiday in Paris.

To boot, entry is always free.

Check out the full programme and the Facebook event here.

A rotating food market

Every week they'll be a new selection of tasty things to eat!

7- 13 July

L’Empanaderia by The Asado Club
With Asado you can sample a variety of golden empanadas (meat, veggie, ham, chicken). The vegetables are local, the meat comes from Argentina, and the recipes are influenced by Mediterranean and African cuisine. You won't be able to stop eating them.

Delistreet
Headed by young chef Ruben who cut his teeth at establishments like Hotel Park Hyatt or Café de la Paix is offering a special menu of various dishes; authentic, and obviously full of flavour.

Nest Paris
This Vietnamese cantine offers a cuisine that's refreshingly different, spun with some western flavours. The rolls, banh mi and chau tom will tick the detox boxes, and there are also vegan and gluten-free dishes. Something for everyone.

Bocarriba
The menu at Bocarriba is a ray of sunshine in the 20th arrondissement. This cantine that opens onto rue de Belleville is loved for its vibe and South American cuisine.
Try the areapas (flour pancakes with garnished sweetcorn) and the patacones (mashed up plantain)

Rosa Kiwi (weekend only)
In the heart of the Latin Quarter, Rosa Kiwi lets you build you own frozen yoghurt. A healthier alternative to traditional ice cream, froyo has 0% saturated fat and 100% flavour.

15 to 21 July

My Kitch'n
This neighbourhood restaurant with a cosy, kitsch vibe brings a colourful menu that's both healthy and creative. The dishes are made with organic and seasonal products.
We'll be eating all of the following: tacos, burritos, nachos & cheese and quesadillas!

Aji Dulce
A restaurant, food shop and the first food truck dedicated to Venezuelan food in Paris. 100% homemade created by the Venezuelan chefs. A veritable food journey which will wake up the taste buds.

La Tropicale Glacier (weekend only)
Here, the ice creams have nothing to do with your usual sickly offerings at the end of family meals. At La Tropicale Glacier ice cream is considered both a dessert and a source of endless delight.
