This is one of the many small Thai restaurants around town and it is located on Jalan Burma. Its interior is simple and it matches their casual ambience. Although known for the Thai beef noodles, which is terrific comfort food, the other dishes they have on their relatively small menu is also appetising.
Their ala carte menu consists of around 20 selections of pork, chicken, fish and vegetables dishes. There’s the customary green chicken curry, Thai-styled salad, tom yam, fried rice and Thai glass noodles. However, a winning combination is the delicately spicy Tom Yam Fried Rice RM14.90+ and the crispy deep fried chicken at RM15.90+. They have a chili dip from their condiments tray that’s tangy and spicy that gives ‘oomph’ to this combo too. Add a serve of green Papaya salad at RM8.90+ and it’s a satisfying meal for two small eaters.
Lunch set menus are available from RM16.90+ including a drink and dessert. There are six sets to choose from and this includes their signature dishes of Vietnamese Style Pork Noodle Soup and Golden Deep Fried Chicken. However, we recommend the stir-fried minced pork with holy basil leaves and rice! The basil certainly punctuates the dish’s meaty flavour with a refreshing note. Kitty Kaye
