Galeri Seni Mutiara's latest art exhibition pays homage to George Voon, a fashion designer, artist and son of Penang who resided and passed on in Paris in 2004. What he left behind is a collection of whimsical oil paintings that captured significant events of his life. One of two important artworks include a painting dedicated to the loss of his grandmother titled '487A. Tjg. Tkg' (the address where George's grandmother lived) and 'It started with a Cross' that describes his quest of spirituality.
