Time Out says

Embodying the unfiltered energy of the Butoh dance through grostesque imagery and disguised behind the veils of a white mask, Catan Kulit takes on the contemporary dance in a traditional Malay tale. The story begins with Awang, a villager of Kampung Pontianak who discovers that the beautiful damsel he helped shelter for the night is actually, a pontianak (Malay vampire).
