The Midtown Village brunch set now have a stylish new spot to frequent on weekends: Starting this September 23, Maison 208 will begin opening at noon on Saturdays and Sundays with a menu of breakfast fare.
The French-influenced bar/restaurant—most known for its cool retractable roof and having season 14 Top Chef contender Sylva Senat in the kitchen—gets in the brunch game with a menu that includes duck eggs Benedict, crème brûlée French toast, truffle crab mac & three cheese and a dish called Season 14 Episode 10, a salmon frittata that recalls Senat’s final episode on Top Chef.
At the bar, look out for special day-drinking spirits like the Maison mimosa and the Cure cocktail, made with scotch, herb honey and ginger.
This new announcement also means a change in hours: Maison 208 will serve brunch on Saturdays from noon to 3 before starting dinner service at 5pm. Sundays, they'll serve brunch and the bar menu from noon to 7pm, but no dinner service.
