Time Out says

A modern rooftop restaurant and beer pub housed in a 1970s-era shopping center, offering views from New Town to the Prague Castle

Finding the elevator entrance to this sky-high drinking and dining establishment can be an adventure. Perched on the top floor of Kotva shopping center – a nostalgic relic of 20th-century architecture – the nine rotating beer taps gives prominence to local microbrews in their weekly selection. A continental menu of burgers, salads, entrees and bar snacks sustains the beer drinking crowd as they gaze out over the church spires and various architectural styles. During colder months, a cozy indoor dining room keeps the regulars warm and well-fed. To exit, walk down through the department store for an entertaining juxtaposition of modern clothing and accessories displayed in bygone-era surroundings.

Time Out tip: Join the crowd of local office workers for a daily menu of lunch specials offered at a discount from 11am-3pm

Cacao: For a healthy or indulgent menu of breakfast, lunch, and dessert options
Koh-I-Noor: For traditional souvenirs of colored pencils and stationary supplies
Studentsky Klub Celetná: For affordable drinks, snacks, and coffee in a student-friendly event space
