Time Out says

A tasting room, museum, and gift shop for all things related to the infamous green drink

There are all kinds of legends, misconceptions, and Hollywood representations of how to consume absinthe. Absintherie hopes to teach tourists the difference between what’s real and what’s rumor. Among the lessons: liquor isn’t your only option. Absinthe ice cream, chocolate, coffee, and beer are on the menu. Feel free to ask the staff for advice on choosing between the 100 different types on offer as well as how to properly imbibe. The gift shop is also stocked with souvenirs for the spirit-lover in your life, and they showcase a variety of bottles and serving utensils connected to the drink’s history.

Time Out tip: The Jilska Street location also hosts art and photography exhibitions and live piano music in the evenings.

Nearby:
Apple Museum: For nostalgic technology and a small pop art gallery
U Dvou koček (“At the Two Cats”): For quality Czech cuisine and subtle cat-inspired decor
Cash Only Bar: For craft cocktails paired with popcorn, hot dogs, and a laid back attitude
